| 1 καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Χιραμ βασιλεὺς Τύρου ἀγγέλους πρὸς Δαυιδ καὶ ξύλα κέδρινα καὶ οἰκοδόμους τοίχων καὶ τέκτονας ξύλων τοῦ οἰκοδομῆσαι αὐτῷ οἶκον 2 καὶ ἔγνω Δαυιδ ὅτι ἡτοίμησεν αὐτὸν κύριος ἐπὶ Ισραηλ ὅτι ηὐξήθη εἰς ὕψος ἡ βασιλεία αὐτοῦ διὰ τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ Ισραηλ 3 καὶ ἔλαβεν Δαυιδ ἔτι γυναῖκας ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἐτέχθησαν Δαυιδ ἔτι υἱοὶ καὶ θυγατέρες 4 καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν τῶν τεχθέντων οἳ ἦσαν αὐτῷ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ Σαμαα Ισοβααμ Ναθαν Σαλωμων 5 καὶ Ιβααρ καὶ Ελισαε καὶ Ελιφαλετ 6 καὶ Ναγε καὶ Ναφαγ καὶ Ιανουου 7 καὶ Ελισαμαε καὶ Βαλεγδαε καὶ Ελιφαλετ |
1 Hiram, too, king of Tyre, sent messages offering David cedar planks and car-penters and stone-masons, to build a house for him. 2 No doubt could David have that the Lord had ratified his sovereignty over Israel, and made him the king of a great people. 3 So, in Jerusalem, he provided himself with fresh wives, and had sons and daughters born to him. 4 Jerusalem was the birth-place of Samua, Sobad, Nathan, Solomon, 5 Jebahar, Elisua, (Eliphalet), 6 Noga, Napheg, Japhia, 7 Elisama, Baaliada and Eliphalet. |
