1 Then answered Baldad the Suhite: 2 Ay, but what power, ay, but what terrors he wields, who reigns peacefully, there in high heaven! 3 He, the lord of countless armies, he, whose light dazzles every eye! 4 And shall man, born of woman, win his suit, prove his innocence, when he is matched with God? 5 Dim shews the moon, tarnished the stars, under his eye; 6 and what is man but waste and worm in his presence? |
